BeamNG Mod Manager 🧡 v0.6.8 + v0.6.9: LOADOUT SHARING IS HERE! Now with a dedicated page complete with Icons, Sharing & Self-Completing Imports!
I cooked with this one boys! 😁
Loadouts have been quietly powerful for since launch... but this release finally gives them a proper home, more features, and the one thing I've wanted for them since I started this... The ability to share them with your friends!! You
These two updates landed back-to-back overlap a lot, so I just combined them. 0.6.8 had all the new loadout features and dedicated page and 0.6.9 made that new page actually look the part. Here’s everything in one go:

🏠 A real home for your Loadouts — and now it looks the part
Click “Loadouts” in the sidebar and your setups open as their own page. From 0.6.8, that’s a card for every Loadout with one-click Activate, Edit, Export and Delete, a live mod count, and buttons up top to start a fresh Loadout, save your currently-active set, or import one a friend sent you over Discord. Then 0.6.9 redesigned the whole thing: each Loadout is now a big banner card laid out three across, so the page feels less like a tucked-away list and more like a shelf of your favorite setups.

🖼️ Hero images; Set by default, customizable by you
Every Loadout card now wears a picture. BMM automatically borrows the image from the biggest mod inside it, so your Loadouts look good the second you make them — and you can always swap in your own from any mod in the set. There’s also a new “Loadout details” drop-down on each card that lists every mod in the set alongside its size, so you can see exactly what’s inside at a glance.

🔗 Share your Loadouts with anyone
This is the one I’m most excited about. 🧡 Hit Export on any Loadout and BMM writes a tiny .bmmloadout file — drop it in Discord, send it to a buddy, post it anywhere. They hit Import and their BMM rebuilds the whole set:
Mods they already own snap right in — matched by actual content, not guesswork.
Anything they’re missing is listed clearly — shown as “not in your library yet,” each with a link straight to its official BeamNG page so they can go grab it.
Nothing personal ever travels — the file is just the mod list. No file paths, no account details, nothing about you.
Build the perfect drift night, a themed car meet, or a track-day pack — and hand the whole thing to someone else in one little file.

♻️ Imports that complete themselves
Here’s the quiet magic: an imported Loadout finishes itself over time. Add one of those missing mods to your library later — a week or a month down the road — and it automatically slots back into the Loadout it belongs to. No re-importing, no manual fixing. It just fills itself in.

✍️ Rename in place, delete with a safety net
Two small touches from 0.6.9 that make everyday Loadout management more enjoyable:
Rename right where you edit — the editor now has an editable name field, so the name and its mods save together in one step. No separate rename dance.
Deleting asks first — a stray click can’t wipe a set you built anymore; BMM confirms before removing a Loadout. And your mods are never touched — only the Loadout itself goes away.

Fixed a bug one that annoyed me. lol
Creating a new Loadout while another one was active used to secretly copy in all of its mods — so a brand-new “Off-Roading” Loadout could show up already stuffed with your Japanese car meet. That’s fixed: “New Loadout” now starts empty and opens the mod picker, and saving your currently-active set is its own clearly labeled button on the loadout page.
🐛 More fixes & polish
The entire close (X) button works properly again — on the Settings window and the mod-details panel, the whole button is clickable, not just part of it.
No more “A” duplicate mix-ups — a short pack file name (like ABC_A.zip) no longer drags every same-prefix pack car into one “likely the same mod” group.
“Keep Only This” is back — for every duplicate set, pairs included — and “Show” is now the clearer “Show File.”
The Wall’s “Become a Supporter” button actually opens Patreon now. 😅
Wording tidy-up — “Loadout” is now spelled consistently across the whole app, “Space Saved” became “Disk Space Savings,” the Connect-with-Patreon copy is clearer, and the duplicate-import notice spells out in bold that nothing was deleted.
As always — none of this exists without you. Loadout sharing especially only means something when there’s a community to share within, and that’s exactly what you’ve all built here. 🧡 In the next update or two I should have the next most requested feature ready!
