BeamNG Mod Manager 𧥠v0.6.10 + v0.6.11: Two quiet updates: A Tougher BMM and a More Polished One.
Released July 8â9, 2026
Between the big Loadouts glow-up and the Backup & Restore update, two smaller releases slipped out back-to-back â the kind that don't make a splash but make everything else feel better. One made BMM tougher against the messy realities of real computers; the other polished the everyday and snuck in a few genuinely nice touches. Quick catch-up on both. đ§°Â
đĄïž 0.6.10 â Rock-solid reliability
Real computers are messy â antivirus locks a file mid-scan, USB drives nod off, the search indexer grabs something for a split second. This release ensures that you don't lose anything. If you are using a USB stick for your library and unplug it, the library won't go blank but instead simply asks you to reinsert your thumb drive. đ
Your library survives a flaky moment â if a rescan happens while your Mod Storage folder is briefly unreadable (an AV sweep, an external drive waking up), BMM no longer drops mods or forgets their tags, favorites, and custom images. And if the whole folder is unplugged or comes back empty, BMM leaves your library completely untouched and simply asks you to reconnect it â instead of wiping it.
Loadouts are protected the same way â a Loadout can't be emptied, or lose the info it uses to heal itself, just because your library looked empty for a second.
Sturdier Patreon checks â a background membership re-check and a manual "Re-check" can no longer collide, so a paying supporter can't get briefly bumped down to free â and disconnecting right as a check is running now works cleanly.
Saves that don't give up â if writing your settings or data hits a brief file lock, BMM retries instead of quietly losing the change.
You won't notice most of this day to day â and honestly, that's the whole point. It just quietly makes sure your setup is always there. đ
âš 0.6.11 â Everyday polish (and a few fun bits)
Then a lighter one, all about making the app nicer to live in.

Better-looking Loadout cards â each card's image is taller and framed from the bottom, so the car fills the space instead of getting clipped at the wheels. You can also rename a Loadout right from its card now, with a little pencil button.

Clearer mod lists â click any mod under a Loadout to reveal its size, its author, and a "Show Mod Details" button, all without leaving the page. Each list shows mod authors now, open lists stay open as you browse, and a new "Detailed" checkbox pops open every Loadout's list at once.

A blurred peek at the premium tools đ â this one's my favorite little touch. If you're on the free plan and click Conflicts or Duplicates, instead of a flat "this is a premium feature" pop-up, you now see a live, softly-blurred preview of your own results â with a one-click way to unlock. A proper "ooh, what's under there?" moment.
Smarter free-tier unlocking â delete enough Loadouts to get back under the free limit and any locked ones now come back automatically, with the counter always staying accurate. (0.7.0 takes this one step further and actually asks which one you'd like back â but more on that in the next post. đ)Â
New ways to follow & support â X, Twitch, Telegram and Ko-Fi links now live at the bottom of the sidebar, plus a Ko-Fi one-time-donation option in the Go Premium window for anyone who'd rather drop a coffee than subscribe on Patreon.

Two quiet ones â but they're the reason the app feels as steady and as sharp as it does heading into the next update with Backup & Restore! Thanks, as always, for being here for the small stuff as well as the big stuff! đ
