BeamNG Mod Manager 🧡 v0.6.5: Self-Healing Load-outs, Better Image Browsing & Honest Savings

Now we’re getting back into the fun stuff. 🎉 This release has one genuinely magic feature (self-healing Load-outs), a much nicer image browsing experience, and a couple of things that make the app clearer and more honest. Let’s dig in:

đŸ©č Load-outs that heal themselves 

This is the headliner. Your Load-outs now survive a full library rebuild — members are re-matched by their actual content, not by an internal ID. So, you can delete a mod and re-import it later, or even move and re-import your entire library, and your Load-outs pick it right back up instead of showing 0. It just works quietly in the background. 😁

đŸ–Œïž Nicer image browsing 

  • Full gallery controls — the enlarged image view now has previous/next arrows with wrap-around and a clean “3 / 7” counter.

  • Keyboard friendly — use ← / → to flip through images and Esc to close.

  • A calmer details drawer — the expanded mod-details panel no longer stretches across the whole window (or distorts its header image) — it opens to a comfortable reading width instead.

👑 Supporters & polish

The Wall of BMM Supporters now features our real founding members — MaKayla, BORCS and elkcustoms. Thank you! 🧡, and the membership screen got a wording polish, including a cleaner Patreon connection status.

📈 New: Optional anonymous usage stats (OFF by default)

You can now opt in — during onboarding or in Settings → Privacy — to let BMM count which features get used, purely to help guide where development goes next. To be crystal clear about what this is and isn’t: it’s feature counts only, never file names, folders, mod names, or anything personal. It’s off unless you turn it on and turning it off anytime also deletes your anonymous ID. Control is yours, but the bits it allows help me make BMM as magical as possible for you. :)
