Under-the-hood: updated core engine for security & performance
- Updated the app’s core engine (Electron) and build tooling to the latest versions. This clears a batch of known security advisories in the old engine and picks up performance and stability improvements. Nothing about how the app works changes — your library, load-outs, settings, and Patreon connection all carry over untouched.

Foundation hardening — security fixes, honest counters & safer deletes
- Security hardening throughout: thumbnails are served with a much stricter path check, the app window now runs fully sandboxed, unexpected pop-ups and navigation are blocked, BMM only opens folders it manages, and the shipped app uses a tighter content-security policy.
- Deleting a mod whose .zip is locked (open in another program) no longer quietly loses track of it — BMM now tells you the file is in use and keeps the mod safely in your library, custom thumbnail and all.
- Space Saved stays honest in more corner cases: a cross-drive combine that has to write a copy back no longer counts as a saving, and neither does a delete that didn’t actually happen.
