New: BMM now recognizes creators, not just individual mods

Plenty of mods in your library are made by people who run a Patreon — but you'd never know it from the mod itself. Until now, BMM could only show a "Support the creator on Patreon" button when that specific mod happened to have the link written into its description. If the creator didn't paste it in, they stayed invisible.

Now BMM recognizes the creator behind the mod, so their whole catalog lights up — not just the one mod where it remembered the link. Got five mods from the same creator? All five point you back to them.

I've hand-curated 33 creators to start with, focusing on the ones whose mods show up most in people's libraries. It'll keep growing.

🎯 Clearer filter: "Patreon Creators Only"

The old "Patreon Creators" checkbox is now a proper toggle with the Patreon logo — dim when it's off, lit when it's on. Flip it and your library narrows to just the mods whose creators you can support directly. Handy if you've ever wanted to go on a little thank-you spree.

🤝 Creators — want to be on the list?

If you make BeamNG mods and you've got a Patreon, get in touch and I'll add you. Costs you nothing and from that point onward your mods point your players straight to you, for any player that uses BeamNG Mod Manger.

And as always, the honest bit: Right now, the Patreon features only work for mods published on the official repository with a reference to Patreon, because that's the only place BMM can reliably tell who made what and I'll have to add more creators by hand with a unique tag as time goes one. Hoping to eventually support all Patreon BeamNG Creators. Also, plenty of creators aren't on Patreon at all — Ko-fi, Buy Me a Coffee, Gumroad, Boosty — which I'd like to support too. That one's next on my list.

On 0.8.8 or newer? BMM will offer the update itself — just click it! On anything older, grab it from the site once and you're sorted from then on.
